South Korean Business School Will be Offering a Crypto-Related MBA for aSSIST Graduate Education
Another major school is launching a new blockchain and crypto-related course. The Seoul School of Integrated Sciences and Technologies (Assist) announced a few days ago that it will be offering a new Master of Business Administration related to virtual currencies. Other topics that the MBA will be touching are smart contracts, crypto funds, dApps and more.
Assist informed that the main intention behind this MBA is to increase the academic research related to the crypto and blockchain industry.
On the matter, the school wrote:
“The mission of Assist business school’s Crypto MBA program is to remedy the lack of academic research and systematic education currently available in the industry, despite a high level of social interest in the blockchain and cryptocurrency.”
The school has been offering master degrees and doctorate degrees since 2004. At the same time, the school is considered the no. 1 graduate school for business administration. There are some companies that use the courses provided by the school.
Students will be learning about management mechanisms, strategic statistics, cryptology, EOS, and many other crypto related projects. Furthermore, it is possible for students at the school to acquire double degrees from other schools around the world including educational institutions in the United States or Finland.
There are other schools and Universities that are offering crypto-related courses to students. For example, in Spain, Argentina, the United States, Australia or South Africa there are universities giving crypto-related lessons.
According to a recent report released by Glassdoor, companies are demanding more workers with knowledge in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. Compared to a year ago, the number of blockchain positions in the United States increased over 300%.
As the cryptocurrency market expands, companies need more individuals with knowledge about virtual currencies and digital assets. However, it is sometimes difficult to find such kind of people. Although the number of universities with these courses has grown over the last years, demand for them remains high.
