Who won the best crypto-inspired Halloween costumes this year?
Several Halloween costumes inspired by cryptocurrency uploaded by crypto-enthusiasts, as compiled by Coindesk.
The Halloween is over, so what’s left from this year’s celebration for crypto-enthusiasts? The best crypto-inspired costumes uploaded by crypto-enthusiasts of course!
Here are three of them, not in any particular order:
- The living blockchain
A Reddit user with the name /benevolinsolence wore black and tight body suit as the “background” for the chain that he wrapped around his body.
The blockchain turned out to glow in the dark, which made him look even more catchy, or shall we say, lit.
- Iguana-like costume
The team at Blockstream admitted to finally be able to “break out” from routine and show their “true-self” in Iguana-like costumes.
We really enjoy #Halloween here at @Blockstream. While everyone else dresses up in costumes, we finally get to relax and take on our natural forms for a day.#bitcoin #nghalshuggothh #deathtoeconomicfreedom pic.twitter.com/uubzBwfMpq— Mario⚡️Gibney (@Mario_Gibney) November 1, 2018
- The Bitcoin whitepaper lady
Crypto journalist, Laura Shin dressed up as Bitcoin whitepaper, on which she said that only few people in the party she went who understood “who she is”. So heartbreaking!
OK, Crypto Twitter. Only one (maybe two*) people at the party I went to totally got my costume. I imagine the number here will be far higher. Happy Halloween! 🎃 pic.twitter.com/AJwIt5t5GE— Laura Shin (@laurashin) November 1, 2018
It is surprisingly not spooky at all, which might be the right representation for crypto. Crypto may be many things, but it's definitely not spooky. And as the year comes to an end soon, let's hope for a more exciting year in the crypto market, which could lead to more sensational crypto-inspired Halloween costumes in the next year's celebration.
